I recently had to switch to an external sound card becaus the onboard sound stopped working. When I open FxSound, it shows the audio ouput but it doesn’t actually change the sound at all. Anyone have any idea why that might be happening?
Individual device volume can be low and it can be adjusted.
Can you check the external sound card volume in the system settings in,
System > Sound > Volume mixer.
