Dis-Abling FxSound?

Hello,

Great program.
Very basic question, please. Will blame my ignorance on old age now:

I want to keep the program in the setup/loop I have, but would like to
temporarily disable any and all effects or modifications it would do.

How do I do this, please ?
Just set everything to 0 db, or is there a setting or option that
would do everything at once ?

Essentially, how to by-pass the program temporarily ?
