# Windows 11 wont let you install fxSound

Has anyone managed to fix this issue? I’ve tried nearly every solution I could find installing from the Microsoft Store, cleaning the registry, running as administrator, and even manually creating the files mentioned in the error. Nothing has worked so far. I’m not going to reinstall Windows just for this. Has anyone actually found a fix?

nah it from you software windows ..you need reformat reintall complete windows 11..i got this before from windows 11 developers…now i change to stable ltsc…working great

Normally this error should not occur when running the installer. But if the installation is not able to find fxsound1.cab file it can be extracted from the installer and you can try running fxsound.x64.msi or fxsound.msi.  
To extract the files from the installer, please run `fxsound_setup.exe /extract`
