# When updatting FxSound, it corrupted itself... Now i can't open it, uninstall it, nor reinstall it to even attempt to fix the issue... please help! \[The file 'Dfx Install.dll' is not marked for installation\]

I have checked installing v1.1.34.0 on both Windows 11 ARM64 and Windows 11 x64, and not able to replication the same installation error.

You can try installing v1.1.35.0 which is still in pre-release. The build is available at [Release Version 1.1.35.0 · fxsound2/fxsound-app](https://github.com/fxsound2/fxsound-app/releases/tag/v1.1.35.0)
