Hi here, it’s now the beautiful (NOT!) year of our Lord 2025, and FxSound looks (and sounds) great! However, it’s hard to listen to some songs on higher-ish-end consumer headphones (like my Sennheiser HD-599s or Sony MDR-100ABN set) with a wide sub-bass range without being able to accurately tune the audio in that range. Although this topic’s been raised often, it’s not been spoken of in years at this point.

I (and others) believe that the user experience of FxSound could be greatly improved by expanding the range of the EQ to a 12-band or even 15-band with a range from 20hz to 20khz. This would not only allow tuning for high quality subwoofer speakers / bassy headphones, but would give finer control of squirrely frequencies in the mid and high range without detriment to close bands.

Thanks for the suggestion! This is something we’d definitely like to add in the future.
