Hiya Dan,  
First post? Welcome.  
Is this the first preset you’re trying to save?  
There is a limit on the number of presets you can store.  
Let’s first ascertain that this is not the problem, then we can take further troubleshooting steps.  
There’s been a previous thread like yours:
