# \[REQUEST\] Auto-switch preset settings per output device

I noticed that once I connected my new BT headset to my PC it didn’t sound right. It was the FxSound preset I was using (for my speakers). So I had to manually change it.
But once my BT headset is off, I have to manually change it back to match my speakers again.
I assumed FxSound would remember presets per-device, but I guess not. I think this is a pretty basic (and easily implemented) functionality that FxSound should have.
Would appreciate it if it could be implemented in an upcoming release. Thank you!

What I’m suggesting is something far simpler (and thus very easy to implement), which is just to have saved presets per _device_. One for speakers, one for headphones etc.
Having the app switch presets per application is something far more complex, and wouldn’t surprise me if would take a long time (if at all) to be implemented.

Angry upvote on this - have multiple output devices and i’d like to have settings page with preset per device selection.
