The new update turned my notification icon red. Can I change it back to white (so it matches everything else) without installing the previous version?

No, this was a recently implemented update. There is no way to revert to the previous icon behavior without installing a previous version.

Thanks. Went back to 1.1.20.0.

Maybe the icon could be optional in future versions? Not an issue either way. This version works great.

Personally, I would only be in favor of adding an option to enable or disable the icon animation to the Settings if the proposal had additional votes by at least 10 others.
Bulky and excessive complex settings menus can ruin the fun of user-friendly yet absolutely awesome pieces of software like FxSound.

Vijay is actively working on that,

I know, but this is an old UI issue (

I updated mines to the current version and both the system tray icon and the icon are still the black and white, so I don’t see the red icon at all. Or does it only change to red under certain conditions?

Yes, the icon should change in system tray and taskbar. I see that occasionally it doesn’t change in the taskbar, which is a bug.
