Welcome to the forum, Salvo.
I’ve compiled a couple of options which were posted in existing threads on the same topic:

> [@Corrupt .cab](https://forum.fxsound.com/t/corrupt-cab/1613/9):
>
> You can try installing the app from Microsoft Store [FxSound - Microsoft Store Apps](https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/fxsound/XP8JK4TBQ03LZ4)
>
> The other option to install through fxsound\_setup.exe in two steps.
>
> 1. Extract the installer by running fxsound\_setup.exe /extract
> Once the files are extracted, you can verify the cab file signature by running
> signtool verify /pa fxsound1.cab
> 2. Then run fxsound.x64.msi (fxsound.msi on 32 bit systems) to install FxSound

> [@Can't Install! "Source file not found..." (fxsound1.cab in RoamingAppData)](https://forum.fxsound.com/t/cant-install-source-file-not-found-fxsound1-cab-in-roamingappdata/896/2):
>
> UPDATE: FIXED problem by opening an admin cmd window in the folder where the installer was and running FxSound\_Setup.exe /extract – gave me the cab file, dropped it into %APPDATA%\ (leads to Roaming folder) … FxSound 1.1.15.6\install & voila!
> Will also note for the devs: The file that is there with the same file size as the cab file is “holder0.aiph” … maybe changing the name & extension would also fix this? _shrugs_

> [@Corrupt .cab](https://forum.fxsound.com/t/corrupt-cab/1613/7):

And this is a quick link to my proverbial “first aid kit” list of items I usually recommend checking first,

> Hello Gabriel, Apologies for your trouble. Could you please try checking these settings? First, check if the driver is installed correctly: Next, run through this list to see if you are set up correctly: In the Help section of FxSound’s Settings menu, check to make sure you have the latest version installed (v1.1.16.0) from [fxsound.com](http://fxsound.com); Check all existing volume sliders in your system; Make sure your computer has received the latest updates; Try running FxSound as Administrator; In Window…

**I hope one of these tips solves your issue.**
**If so, please let me know.**
**If not, please also let me know, so we can take further steps.**
