# Headset's microphone not working

So basically, since installing the software from the Microsoft Store my headset’s mic stopped working, I already saw another post about someone’s mic not working, and after doing everything that was suggested in that post I assume it’s not a Windows thing, Any ideas other than not using fxsound? I really enjoy it and if it wasn’t for the mic problem it’d be perfect.

Sorry about this. Is there a specific app you’re trying to use the mic with?

Yeah, discord and my browser, I checked every kind of setting related to sound and input devices but nothing, I ended up installing it from the website and the mic works just fine now, it only happens when Fxsound is installed via the Microsoft Store, thanks anyway!
