When Fxsound is running, it makes it impossible to type the special character Euro (€) on the keyboard.

I need to stop fxsound … and then I can type this symbol.
To write this question I had to stop fxsound so that you could check this special character € !

Is there any fine recipe to prevent fxsound from preventing us to type this special character without stoppinf fxsound ???

Thank you.

Hello Claudine,
The team has been made aware of this issue, and is working on a fix.
In the meanwhile, if you have the latest version installed, v1.1.20.0, you can customize the shortcuts in the Settings menu, so you can eliminate this problem yourself.

> Forum member mumpi noted that on German/Austrian/Swiss keyboard layouts, the sta…ndard Ctrl+Alt+Q shortcut to toggle FxSound On/Off conflicts with the creation of the "@" symbol; and also proposed several possible solutions:
>
> \- Change the key combination for shortcuts: "You can go to CTRL+SHIFT or ALT-SHIFT as default, which does not default to characters on standard layouts."
> \- Have the shortcuts disabled by default on first launch;
> \- Display a warning pop-up on first launch to notify users of the conflict.
