> Hey guys, FxSound does not show all the available audio output options. For AirPods Pro 2, they have a “Stereo” output and a “Hands-Free” output, FxSound only sees the first. Same thing applies for Sony XH-1000XM3. Unfortunately, when using the microphone on these headphones/buds, audio only works via the Hands-Free output. Effectively, if I want to use the mic, I need to quit FxSound to have both Audio and Microphone capabilities. [image]

I don’t even know what the exact problem is, and we don’t apply device-specific fixes.
There’s a troubleshooting list bannered at the top of the forum…

In Windows Sound Settings, you can disable the FxSound Speakers device while not needed, and re-enable it when needed.

We are actively working on improving Bluetooth functionality.

There’s an “Automatically switch to newly connected output device” option in the General tab of FxSound’s Settings…

Q:
Which model of AirPods?
Which version of FxSound?
Which version of Windows?

</div>

If Airpods “Stereo” is getting listed in FxSound but “Hands-Free” is not getting listed, then it is because we don’t support mono devices. We have a fix for this and it will be available in the next release.

Okay, thanks.
Is the Bluetooth device present in FxSound’s device selection list, or does it simply remain undetected?

I highly recommend visiting the manufacturer’s website to look for information on the product, like technical specifications, its manual, and troubleshooting suggestions for that specific device.
You haven’t mentioned anything about the actual brand and model of your Bluetooth headset so far in this entire thread: you described them as AirPods, which they turned out not to be, and at the same time, you placed the blame for your problem on us from the very beginning.
For the purpose of troubleshooting, that seems like a pretty disingenuous modus operandi.
