My computer crashed and burned last week so a complete reinstall was required. When it was first done, the sound was loud and lovely. No FX Sound installed yet.

After awhile, all other stuff installed and I installed FX Sound and the sound is definitely not as loud as it was (without FX Sound) and WITH FX Sound, all the options are greyed out to choose what I want to use it for, save new preset etc all greyed out. Weird.

When I installed it last time (just a month ago – I just found it!!), it worked perfectly and everything was available. Any suggestions?

This is Windows 11 Pro, Version 24H2.

I’ve run a ton of troubleshooters but cannot seem to figure it out. Help?

Thank you!

That is weird! Sorry about this… Can you please send some screenshots of FxSound in the on and off states?

Sorry not to have replied. I had to reinstall Windows 10 and, once I did that, it was fine. Thanks! Solved!!
