# Feature Request - set default output device

Any time I open FXSound the app switches my audio output to Steam Streaming Speakers. I’d like it if I could set the output device the app opened with so it could default to my PC speakers.

Well, then here’s some good news: a “Preferred Output Device” option is scheduled to be included in the next update.
